Acupuncture

The practice and teaching of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Eastern Medicine is more than 4000 years old. The first text on the subject, The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of internal Medicine (Huang Ti Nei Jing Su Wen Ling Shu), is still relevant to teaching of acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine today.
Chinese Medicine, or Eastern Medicine is a complete system of medicine with its own forms of diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and therapies. Chinese medicine views the body as an energetic system in dynamic balance.

Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on an ancient philosophy that describes the universe, and the body, in term of two opposing forces: yin and yang. When these forces are in balance, the body is healthy. Energy called Qi flows along specific pathways, called meridians. The constant flow of energy keeps the yin and yang forces balances, however, if the flow of energy gets blocked, like water getting stuck behind a dam, then that will lead to pain, lack of function, or illness.

After Chinese medicine treatment a person feels calmer and more present. The physical body will be in less pain and less stress, a person will experience less emotion and the thoughts will be slower and calmer. Chinese Medicine is a phenomenal system that will help you be healthier and happier.
